How to use

1. Press Start and answer 12 questions. Pick what you would actually do, not what your main would do.
2. Get your character with their element, region and title, a short description and a tip about your role in a party.
3. Share the card in Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X or Reddit, or save it as a 1200×630 image. Anyone who opens your link sees your character and can take the quiz themselves.

Eight characters, five nations

The quiz covers eight playable characters from five nations of Teyvat. Four of them are Archons, four are fan favourites who steal every scene they are in. Every one of them is a 5-star character, so the result is a character you could actually build, not a random NPC.

Why these eight and not the whole roster? Genshin has more than a hundred playable characters by now, and a quiz with a hundred outcomes gives results that feel random. We picked characters with strong, distinct personalities that players recognise instantly: the bard, the consultant, the shogun, the little god of wisdom, the diva, the funeral director, the yaksha and the bomb girl. Each of them stands for a clear way of dealing with people, money, promises and fights, which is exactly what the twelve questions probe. If your main is not on the list, the result still tells you something: the quiz matches your temperament, not your build.

How the result is calculated

Every answer adds one point to one or two characters. Some answers are shared on purpose: "I remember things nobody else does" counts for both Zhongli and Nahida, "I am not as carefree as I look" for both Venti and Hu Tao, because real personalities overlap and so do these characters. After twelve questions, the character with the highest total is your result. The weights are balanced so that each of the eight can win; there is no default answer that pulls everyone towards Zhongli.

If the character in second place also feels like you, that is normal. The most common pairs are Venti and Hu Tao (the jokers), Zhongli and Raiden Shogun (the ones who never bend), Nahida and Furina (the ones who understand people, from opposite directions) and Xiao and Klee (the protector and the protected). Take the quiz again and answer the questions you hesitated on the other way, and you will usually get the second one. That pair describes you better than either character alone.

What makes this quiz different: it runs entirely in your browser. No registration, no email gate before the result, no ad covering the card, and nothing is sent to a server. The scoring is a few lines of JavaScript on this page. The result link only carries the character id after the #, so a friend who opens it sees the same card, not your answers.

Privacy: your answers never leave your device. We do not store them, and there is nothing to delete.

Share your character and compare with your co-op group

The result screen has buttons for Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X, Reddit and Facebook, a copy-link button and a "save card" button that downloads a 1200×630 image with your character, their title and your description. That size fits a post, a story or a Discord banner. If your phone supports native sharing, you will also see a Share button that opens the usual system menu.

The fun starts when your co-op group takes it. Send the link, let everyone answer honestly, and compare. A group with a Raiden Shogun, a Zhongli and a Nahida will finish every domain in silence and on time. A group with two Klees and a Hu Tao will spend the evening exploding things and laughing about it. If everybody gets Xiao, you have found the quietest voice chat in Teyvat. The card is also a decent way to introduce yourself on a Genshin server: people who know the characters will read your personality from the title alone.

The characters, briefly, for anyone who has not met them

Venti is the bard of Mondstadt who drinks, sings and vanishes from responsibility, and who is also far more than a bard. Zhongli is the consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue, an expert on history and contracts who is famous for never carrying Mora. Raiden Shogun rules Inazuma in pursuit of eternity and, in her own words, is rather fond of dango milk. Nahida is the small, gentle god of wisdom in Sumeru who learns about the world through the dreams of its people.

Furina is the theatrical face of Fontaine, a performer whose stage presence hides a very different story. Hu Tao is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, a prankster and poet who takes exactly one thing seriously. Xiao is the Vigilant Yaksha of Liyue, a silent guardian who lives on almond tofu and old guilt. Klee is the youngest knight in Mondstadt, a walking explosion with no malice at all, whose adventures usually end in solitary confinement.

We kept the descriptions spoiler-free on purpose. If your result makes you curious, the Archon quests of each nation tell the full story, and they are among the best parts of the game.
