How to use
- Press Start and answer 12 questions — think about your last ten matches, not your best highlight.
- Get your role with a description of what it does for the team and one tip for playing it better.
- Share the card in Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X or Reddit, or save it as an image. Friends who open your link see your role and can take the quiz themselves.
The six roles in a Counter-Strike team
Professional Counter-Strike teams do not have five equal players. Each player has a job that starts before the round does, and the quiz sorts you into one of six jobs that have existed since the 1.6 era and still describe CS2 lineups today.
| Role | Job in the round | Typical stat that matters |
|---|---|---|
| Entry Fragger | Takes the first duel, creates space on the T side | Opening kills |
| AWPer | Holds long angles, controls the pace with the sniper rifle | Kills at range, multi-kills |
| IGL | Calls strats, reads the enemy economy, keeps the team calm | Round win rate, not K/D |
| Lurker | Plays away from the team, cuts rotations, wins late clutches | Clutches, backstabs |
| Support | Flashes, smokes, trades, carries the kit | Flash assists, utility damage |
| Anchor | Holds one site alone on the CT side, delays the push | Time won before rotation |
Most solo-queue players think they are entry fraggers. The quiz is built to catch the difference between wanting the first kill and actually being the one who trades, who calls, or who quietly holds B for thirty rounds. If you are consistently the calm voice when the team is down, you are an IGL whether you like it or not; if you keep finding yourself alone on the wrong side of the map with a kill, you are a lurker.
How the result is calculated
Each answer gives one point to one or two roles. Some answers overlap on purpose: "my positioning" is both AWPer and Anchor, "the one everyone relies on" is both Anchor and Support, because those roles share a temperament. After twelve questions the role with the highest total is your result. Every role has roughly the same number of chances to score, so nobody gets funnelled into Entry just because it sounds cool.
Ties and near-ties are common — Entry and Support, AWPer and Anchor, IGL and Support are natural pairs. If the result surprises you, retake the quiz and answer the two or three questions you hesitated on the other way. The pair you land between is usually your real role in a five-stack.
What makes this quiz different: it runs entirely in your browser, with no registration, no email gate and no ad covering the result. Nothing is sent anywhere — the scoring is plain JavaScript on this page, and the result link only contains the role id after the #, so a friend who opens it sees the same card and nothing about your answers.
Privacy: your answers never leave your device. We do not store them.
Share the result with your team
The result screen has buttons for Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X, Reddit and Facebook, a copy-link button and "save card", which downloads a 1200×630 PNG — the right size for a Discord post or a story. On phones with native sharing there is also a system Share button.
The best use of the quiz is fixing a five-stack. Send it to your team, have everyone take it, and compare. Five entry fraggers explains why nobody has a kit. Two AWPers explains the economy. No IGL explains the 3–9 halves. And if the result says Support and you have been forcing the AWP every round, try one map on flashes and trades — it is the fastest way most players climb a rank. FAQ
Is the result saved anywhere?
No. It lives in the link you share (the part after #) and in the card image you can download. Nothing is stored on our side.
Are these real roles or made up for the quiz?
They are the standard roles used by pro and semi-pro teams: entry fragger, AWPer, in-game leader, lurker, support and site anchor. Some teams split them further, but these six cover every lineup.
I got Support. Is that bad?
No — it is usually the sign of a player who wins more rounds than their K/D shows. Support players learn utility lineups, trade reliably and are the first pick for any serious team.
Can I get a different result?
Yes. Many players sit between two roles. Retake the quiz and change the answers you hesitated on; the pair you land between describes you well.
