How to use
- Press Start and answer 12 questions. After each one you see whether you were right and a short explanation, so the quiz teaches the lore as you go.
- Get your score out of 12 and a rank from Iron to Radiant on a card that shows the number.
- Share the card in Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X or Reddit, or save it as an image. Friends who open your link see your score and can try to beat it.
What the quiz covers
Valorant has a real story behind the shooter, told through agent bios, voice lines, map trailers and cinematics, and most of it is easy to miss if you only queue ranked. The twelve questions are spread over four areas so that map knowledge, agent knowledge and world knowledge each get a fair share.

Nothing in the quiz depends on the current act or the latest agent. The lore facts have been stable since they were introduced, and the map facts are about maps that are years old. If a question surprises you, the explanation under the answer gives the short version, and the section below gives the long one.
The world of Valorant, briefly
Valorant takes place on a near-future Earth called Alpha. The Kingdom Corporation discovered Radianite, a substance mined and refined into a clean energy source; within a decade Kingdom was producing most of the planet's power. Then came First Light, a supercharged Radianite event that swept the globe, caused a worldwide blackout and changed technology and society. Some people developed powers afterwards; they are called Radiants. Jett, Phoenix, Sage, Reyna and Omen are Radiants; Brimstone, Viper, Killjoy, Sova and Cypher rely on Radianite-powered technology instead.
In response to First Light, a shadow organisation founded the Valorant Protocol. Brimstone (Liam Byrne, Agent 1) leads it, and Viper (Sabine Callas, a Kingdom chemist) is his second-in-command. Agents are numbered by recruitment order, which is why number 8 has become a running mystery: it has never been released and is listed as absent. There is a second Earth, Omega, a mirror world on the edge of climate collapse. Omega's own Valorant sends agents through to Alpha with spikes to steal Radianite. The first attack the public saw was in Venice, ten years after First Light: Phoenix failed to stop the plant, the spike detonated, and part of the city rose into the sky. That floating district is the map Ascent, and the enemy team you fight every match is, in the lore, the mirror version of your own.
The maps and the real places behind them
Every map is somewhere real. Bind is a Kingdom Radianite refinery in Rabat, Morocco, and its one-way teleporters replace a mid. Haven is a temple in Thimphu, Bhutan, and was the first map with three sites. Split is Kingdom's offices in Shinjuku, Tokyo, with rope ascenders. Ascent is the San Marco district of Venice, lifted into the air, with sealable bomb doors. Icebox is a Kingdom excavation site on Bennett Island in the Russian Arctic, the first map with ziplines. Breeze is an island in the Bermuda Triangle with a Radianite mine.
Fracture is the Everett-Linde research lab in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, where the Kingdoms of both Earths secretly worked together until a failed experiment split the site in two. Pearl was the first map on Omega Earth: a district of Lisbon protected by a geodesic dome after rising seas. Lotus is the ancient City of Flowers in the Western Ghats of India, also on Omega, with rotating stone doors and three sites. Sunset is Boyle Heights in Los Angeles; Abyss is a hidden fortress under the Arctic island of Jan Mayen, the first map with death drops; Corrode is Mont-Saint-Michel on Omega's Normandy coast, turned into a Radianite salt mine. That list answers every map question in the quiz and a few that are not in it.
How scoring and sharing work
Each correct answer is one point. Your score out of 12 sets the rank: Iron for anything under 5, Gold from 5, Diamond from 9, Immortal for 11, and Radiant only for a perfect 12. The result card shows the rank, the score and a description, and the share link carries the score, so a friend who opens it sees exactly what you got.
The result screen has buttons for Telegram, WhatsApp, VK, X, Reddit and Facebook, a copy-link button and a "save card" button that downloads a 1200×630 image. The natural use is a team challenge: post the card, let your five-stack take it and see who knows the story best. Since every answer comes with an explanation, anyone who reads your card before playing has a small edge, which is a good excuse for the loser to demand a rematch.
What makes this quiz different: every fact was checked against the official agent and map descriptions and the community lore wiki before it went in, and there are no questions about things that change every act. It runs entirely in your browser, with no registration and no email gate before the score. Privacy: your answers are not sent anywhere; the only thing in the link is your rank id and score.
FAQ
Is Valorant lore official?
Yes. Riot tells the story through agent bios, voice lines, map descriptions, cinematics and the "Story of Valorant so far" articles. The community wiki collects it; the quiz uses facts that appear in those official sources.
Who is agent 8?
Nobody knows. Agents are numbered by recruitment order, and 8 has never been released. In the lore the eighth agent is listed as absent indefinitely. Every new agent release restarts the speculation.
What is the difference between Alpha and Omega Earth?
Alpha is the Earth the Protocol defends. Omega is a mirror Earth on the edge of climate collapse; its agents raid Alpha with spikes to steal Radianite. Pearl, Lotus and Corrode are set on Omega.
Why is Ascent floating?
A spike detonated in Venice ten years after First Light and lifted part of the San Marco district into the sky. The Protocol later set up its training range on another floating piece of the city.
Is the score saved anywhere?
No. It is only in the link you share (the part after #) and in the card image. Nothing is stored on our side.
Can I take the quiz again?
Yes, as many times as you like. The questions stay in the same order so scores can be compared fairly.
