How to use
- Type a word you want in the name or leave it empty. Fortnite (Epic) is preselected, so results are 3–16 plain characters.
- Pick a vibe: Pro for sweaty tags, Cool, Funny, Cute or Anime.
- Leave font and frame on "Plain" — Epic rejects Unicode fonts and frames. Spaces, dots, underscores and dashes are the only decoration you get.

Fortnite name rules (Epic display name)
Fortnite does not have its own username: the name above your character is the Epic Games display name shared with Rocket League, Fall Guys and the Epic launcher. Epic's help page for display names was not reachable while we checked the rules, so the table below combines Epic's published limits with what the account page accepts in 2026. One detail is disputed between sources: some say spaces are allowed, others say only underscore. The account form is the final judge — the checker here allows space, dot, underscore and dash, which matches what most players report.

Console players: on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch the in-game name may show your platform ID instead of the Epic display name depending on your settings — the Epic name is what PC players and your Epic friends list see.
Why sweaty names look the way they do
"Sweaty" Fortnite names follow a recognisable formula because the rules leave so little room: a short aggressive word, a lower-case start, a single trailing letter or number, and sometimes a dot as a separator — vexy., Rzn Fade, Nyx_. Since Unicode fonts are blocked, the only way to stand out is rhythm and case. The generator's Pro vibe reproduces that pattern with fresh words rather than the same xTTV Zylo every name list repeats. If you stream, adding TTV or YT is allowed, but Epic's impersonation filter will refuse anything too close to a known streamer's actual name.

The two-week rule and common rejections
Epic allows one display name change every 14 days. The form checks the name live and refuses it with a short message; the usual reasons are a taken name, a banned word hidden inside a longer word, a symbol that is not on the allowed list, or something that resembles "Epic", "Fortnite" or a famous player. Because the cooldown starts the moment a change succeeds, a rushed change with a typo locks you in for two weeks. Paste your final choice into the checker here first: it catches the length and character problems instantly, which are the majority of rejections.
