Mobile Legends Name Generator

Your MLBB name shows on the loading screen, the scoreboard and every kill announcement, and changing it later costs a Rename Card. Type a word, pick a vibe, and every result is trimmed to fit the name box.

How to use

  1. Type a word you want in the name (your hero main, a nickname, a word you like) or leave it blank. Mobile Legends is already selected.
  2. Pick a vibe. Pro gives short tags that read well on the scoreboard; Cool mixes in words from the game itself, such as Lord, Turtle and Savage.
  3. Add a fancy font or a frame if you want the "ML name style" look. Each frame adds characters, so watch the counter.
  4. Tap ☆ to keep candidates, then Copy. In the game: open your profile, tap your name, paste, confirm.
  5. Paste the final pick into the checker to see its length and whether the same name would also pass in other games you play.

MLBB name rules and what a change costs

RuleWhat we know
Length4 characters minimum. Players quote the rename box message "no more than 20 characters"; older lists say 16. The generator keeps names to 16 so they fit under both readings.
SymbolsMany Unicode symbols and frames are accepted, which is where the "ML name style" trend comes from. Some decorative symbols count as more than one character.
First changeFree on an account that has never been renamed
Later changesOne Rename Card each. Guides report a shop price of a few hundred diamonds (239 in one guide, 99 for the first purchase and 299 after in another) and cheaper cards through first-recharge and season quests. Check the shop before buying.
Where to changeProfile → tap your name → type the new one → OK

Because the numbers differ between sources and Moonton has not published an official limit page, the honest rule is: type the name into the rename box first. The box tells you if it is too long before the card is used.

Words from the game that make a name feel MLBB

Generic "Dark Killer" names look the same in every game. Names that borrow from Mobile Legends itself stand out on the loading screen. With Mobile Legends selected, the generator mixes these in:

WordWhere it comes fromExample name
SavageThe announcement for five kills in a rowSavageMint
ManiacThe four-kill announcementManiacMoth
LordThe late-game objective that pushes lanes for your teamLordThief
TurtleThe early objective in the riverTurtleTax
MythicThe ranked tier above LegendMythicNap
Gank, Buff, JungleEveryday role wordsGankDiary

Avoid copying a pro player's name exactly. You will be mistaken for an impersonator in team chat, and a near-copy with a different letter reads like a fake account.

Retri is player slang for Retribution, the jungler's battle spell. A name that tells teammates your role (Retri Queen, Sleepy Tank) also helps in draft pick.

What usually goes wrong

  • A frame pushes the name over the limit. ꧁ and ꧂ add two characters before the name even starts, and some symbols count double. Keep the core name short if you want decoration.
  • The name looks like a thousand others. Add a role word instead of a birth year: "Clutch Kiko" reads better than "Kiko2009" and does not tell everyone your age.
  • Symbols that show as boxes. A name can look fine on your phone and show □ on a teammate's older phone. Plain letters with one symbol are safer than a full fancy font.
  • Spending the free change on a test. The first rename is free once. Settle the name here, then use the free change for the final version.

What makes ours different

Most MLBB name sites hand you a fixed list of decorated names that hundreds of players already copied. Here names are built from your word plus five vibe dictionaries and Mobile Legends terms, cut to fit, and you choose whether to add fonts and frames. The checker counts length the same way for every game in the list, so you can keep one name across MLBB, Free Fire and PUBG Mobile. More about decorated letters in the nickname fonts guide. It cannot see other players' names, so it cannot tell you if someone already uses yours.

Privacy

Names are generated in your browser from word lists that come with the page. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and saved names stay in this browser's local storage.
