How to use
- Type a word you want in the username or leave it empty. Roblox is preselected, so every result is plain letters, digits and at most one underscore.
- Pick a vibe: Cute for aesthetic names, Cool, Pro, Funny or Anime.
- Leave the font and frame on "Plain" for the username — Roblox does not accept Unicode. Switch them on only when you are making a display name.
- Generate, save favourites with ☆, copy the one you like.
- Paste it into the Roblox sign-up form or Settings → Account Info → Username. A username change costs 1,000 Robux; a display name change is free once every 7 days.
Roblox username rules
Roblox has two names and they follow different rules. The username is your login and the @handle under your avatar: it must be unique across all of Roblox, case does not matter (ShadowFox and shadowfox are the same account), and the character set is tiny. The display name is what shows above your head in games; it does not need to be unique and it is a bit more flexible, but it goes through a strict text filter.

Why most "aesthetic" names fail on Roblox
The names you see on Pinterest boards — ✿ s t r a w b e r r y ✿, xX_Nezuko_Xx, b l o s s o m — cannot be usernames. Spaces are not allowed, symbols are not allowed, and xX_Nezuko_Xx has two underscores. Roblox's own form will just say "Username is not appropriate" or "Username contains invalid characters" without explaining which rule you broke.
The workarounds real players use: replace spaces with a single underscore (straw_berry), replace letter spacing with alternating case (StrawBerry), keep the symbols for the display name only, and use short numbers or a rare adjective instead of xX brackets to get a free variant. Every result the generator makes for Roblox already follows those workarounds, so you can paste them straight into the form.

Display name vs username: which one to style
If you want ★ or ✦ in your name, put it in the display name and leave the username plain. Roblox lets you change the display name for free every 7 days, so it is the right place to experiment — a username change costs 1,000 Robux and is permanent until you pay again. The display name filter is stricter than it looks: most Unicode "fonts" (𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽, 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠) are rejected or replaced, while simple symbols ★ ✦ ✿ ☆ usually go through. Test in the settings page — nothing is charged for a display name attempt.
One more trap: display names are not unique, so anyone can copy yours. If a trader or friend needs to find you reliably, give them the @username, not the display name.
