Random Game Picker: What Should I Play?

The wheel comes pre-loaded with twelve games everyone has installed anyway. Delete the ones you are tired of, add your backlog, and press Spin. The pick is made by a cryptographic random number before the wheel moves, so "the wheel chose Roblox" is final.

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never sent to our server.

How to use

  1. Look at the list on the right: 12 popular multiplayer games are already there. Remove any you do not own or do not feel like, one line each.
  2. Add your own: paste titles from your Steam or Epic library, one per line. Single-player backlog, co-op games, or the three you always argue about with friends.
  3. Press Spin. The wheel stops on tonight's game and shows it in big letters.
  4. Playing with a group? Use Remove winner to build a play order for the evening — first game, second game, and so on.
  5. Share your screen in Discord while spinning so nobody can claim you rerolled.

Session lengths are typical match times, not rules — use them to prune the list on a school night. The list is a starting point; it is not a ranking and it is not sponsored.

How to pick a game with friends without a 40-minute argument

  1. Everyone adds two games. Each person types two titles they would genuinely play tonight. Nobody vetoes.
  2. One veto each. Then each person removes one line. What is left is a list everyone can live with.
  3. Spin once. Screen share on. The result stands; a reroll is allowed only if the game is down or someone cannot install it in time.
  4. Queue immediately. The argument usually restarts in the lobby — do not give it the chance.

For a whole evening, spin with Remove winner three times and you have a schedule: 90 minutes of the first game, then the second, then the third if anyone is still awake.

Why a random pick works better than voting

Voting on games has a known failure mode: the loudest player wins, and the same two games win every week. A random draw over a filtered list changes that in two ways. First, every option that survived the veto round has an equal chance — the quiet person's game finally gets played. Second, the decision has no author, so nobody is responsible for a bad night. Game designers call this "random with consent": you agree to the list, chance picks from it.

The draw itself uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, the same approach as our dice and wheel tools, so a list of 12 games is exactly 1/12 each — no favouring the first or last entry.

What makes ours different

  • Pre-filled with current games instead of an empty box, so the first spin takes ten seconds.
  • Fully editable: your library, your co-op list, your backlog.
  • Remove-winner mode turns one spin into a play order for the evening.
  • Honest randomness, no weights, no "featured game" that lands more often.
  • Works in the browser on any device, no sign-up, no ads over the wheel.

Privacy

Your game list never leaves the page. There is no account, no tracking of what you play, and no request to any server when you spin. Refresh and the list goes back to the default twelve.

FAQ

Which games are on the wheel by default?

CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, Dota 2, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Rust, Marvel Rivals, EA FC 27 and GTA Online. Edit the list freely.

Can I add my Steam library?

Yes — paste the titles one per line. There is no automatic import (that would need your account), but a copied list of names works perfectly.

Is the pick random or does it favour some games?

Purely random: each line has an equal chance, chosen by the browser's cryptographic generator before the wheel animates.

How do we decide with a group of friends?

Everyone adds two games, everyone vetoes one, spin once with the screen shared. The result is final — see the section above for the full method.

Can it pick a play order for the whole evening?

Spin, press Remove winner, spin again. Each spin removes the chosen game, so three spins give you a first, second and third game.

Does it work for single-player backlogs?

Yes. Paste the games you keep postponing and let the wheel end the procrastination.
