How to use

1. Tap a lane chip — Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC or Support — to keep only champions Riot lists for that position. Flex champions appear under every lane they play.
2. Press Pick. The champion and their positions are shown in the box.
3. Keep No repeats on to work through the roster without duplicates — a full "one game on every champion" challenge is 173 picks.
4. Pick for 5 draws five different champions at once; with a single lane selected it gives you five options for that lane, with all lanes on it gives a random five stack.
5. Your picks stay in the history strip until you refresh the page.

The champion roster in September 2026

League has 173 champions as of September 2026. The most recent releases are Locke (June 2026), Zaahen (November 2025), Yunara (July 2025) and Mel (January 2025); all of them are in the picker. Each champion carries the position tags Riot shows in the client, so the lane filters are the same ones you see in champion select.

Champions with several positions — Yasuo (Top/Mid/ADC), Senna (ADC/Support), Pantheon (Top/Support) — count for each of their lanes, so they are slightly more likely to appear when all filters are on. Turn on one lane and every champion in it has an equal chance.

Ways to use a random champion

• Learn your role in depth. Filter your lane, No repeats on, one game per champion. In a month you have played every matchup from both sides and you stop losing to "I have never seen this champion".
• Random comp customs. Pick for 5 with all lanes on, assign whatever comes. It is chaos, and it is the most fun a five stack can have on a Friday.
• Tie-breaker in champ select. Two options you like equally? Add them to our wheel tool or just pick here twice and take the first.
• Streams and challenges. "Random champion to Gold" runs, viewer-picked lanes, penalty games.
• ARAM warm-up. All lanes on is basically ARAM's champion draw — practise a random kit before the real thing.

How the pick is made

The champion is drawn with crypto.getRandomValues and rejection sampling, so every champion in the active pool has exactly the same chance. "No repeats" keeps a shuffled queue (Fisher–Yates) and hands you champions in that order until the pool runs out, then reshuffles. There is no weighting toward meta picks, and nothing is remembered between visits — if you got Teemo three times this week, that is genuinely chance.

Privacy
