This Resident Evil Requiem platinum trophy guide follows PowerPyx's route of three playthroughs and about 20 hours: a Casual run for collectibles, a Casual speedrun under four hours without healing or the Blood Collector, and an Insanity run with infinite ammo. There is no chapter select, so almost every trophy is missable within a run, but a manual save from each area works as one. The one thing to manage is Challenge Points (CP): do not spend them on anything but the two items listed below.

The full order, the CP plan and all 50 trophies with the run each one belongs to are below.

Short answer

  • Run 1: Casual with a collectible guide, a manual save in a separate slot after every story trophy.
  • Before run 2: farm Bloodlust by reloading, then buy the unbreakable knife "Koketsu (Grace)" for 5,000 CP.
  • Run 2: Casual in under 4 hours, no herbs or injectors, never pick up the Blood Collector.
  • Before run 3: buy Infinite Ammo and the Infinite RPG for 100,000 CP and start Insanity.
  • Last: buy and view all concept art and models for 10,000 CP.

How many playthroughs does the Requiem platinum need?

Technically two, PowerPyx says, but only if you already know the game well enough to do the speedrun, the no-healing run and the no-Blood Collector run in one go with every collectible. Three is the comfortable number. Collectibles such as files and Mr. Raccoons carry over between runs, and so do items bought in the Bonus menu; everything else starts from scratch.

Difficulty trophies stack: finishing Insanity also gives the Standard (Modern) and Standard (Classic) trophies. So the first two runs can stay on Casual.

Run 1: Casual and all collectibles

PowerPyx puts this run at 10–15 hours. Play on Casual: you get more ammo and enemies die faster, which helps several combat trophies. Follow a collectible guide that marks the location-specific trophies, since many of them happen only once. Grace and Goliath, for example, is the only Chunk Grace can kill.

Keep one manual save per story trophy, each in its own slot. Without chapter select, these saves are how you go back for a missed safe or a Plant 43 seedling. Finishing the story on any difficulty opens Insanity and shows the full Challenges list.

At the final choice, pick "Release Elpis". The other option does not give Hope and Requiem.

Run 2: speedrun with no healing and no Blood Collector

This run is 3–4 hours and gives three trophies at once: Speed Demon, Never Touch the Stuff and Minimalist. Two preparations come first:

  1. Finish Bloodlust. Reload an old save, drink Transfusion Bags, reload again. It farms fast and you will never need blood again.
  2. Buy the knife. Bonuses, Special Content, "Koketsu (Grace)", 5,000 CP. Without the Blood Collector you cannot craft ammo, and this knife never breaks. If it gets stuck in an enemy, pick it back up.

During the run, the counters under Challenges for Never Touch the Stuff and Minimalist must stay at 0. On Casual, health regenerates to yellow on its own, so you can take hits. You may pick up, store, craft or sell healing items; you just cannot use them. The timer is in Challenges, Speed Demon, and pausing stops it. PowerPyx calls the four-hour limit lenient: under three hours is realistic.

A run under four hours also gives the Infinite Ribbon for unlimited saves on Insanity.

Run 3: Insanity

After the speedrun PowerPyx counts over 100,000 CP. Spend exactly 100,000 on Infinite Ammo and the Infinite RPG, then start a new game on Insanity. The RPG is for Leon only and comes from Supply Boxes, which now appear from the beginning. As Grace, the infinite Requiem revolver kills a regular enemy with two body shots or one headshot.

Insanity adds enemies and makes them faster. With these items, PowerPyx writes, it is no harder than the first Casual run, about 3 hours. Ink Ribbons exist only on Insanity and Standard (Classic), so save once at a typewriter with one during this run for The Ol' Fashioned Way.

Then buy all concept art (5,600 CP) and all models (4,400 CP) and view each one for Curator and Model Mania.

CP plan between runs

Challenge Points are the currency of the Bonus menu, and the platinum needs about 115,000 of them in total. PowerPyx's numbers, in order:

When CP you have Buy Price
After run 1 About 27,000 (with all collectibles) Koketsu (Grace), unbreakable knife 5,000
After run 2 Over 100,000 Infinite Ammo + Infinite RPG 100,000
After run 3 Enough All concept art and models 10,000

Anything else bought before run 3 risks leaving you short for the Infinite RPG.

The 49 trophies behind the "Requiem" platinum, grouped by task. Names and conditions are checked against Stratege and the Steam achievement list. PSN % is Stratege's figure, Steam % is the global share of Steam players; both were taken on October 11, 2026. Step: 1 = Casual collectibles run, 2 = speedrun, 3 = Insanity, 4 = Bonus menu. "Per run" means the condition covers a whole playthrough; "Farmable" means a save reload adds to the count.

What usually goes wrong

Minimalist voided halfway through the speedrun. PowerPyx's rule is not to pick up the Blood Collector in the Blood Lab at all, and the counter under Challenges, Minimalist must stay at 0. Check it after each area: once it moves, this run will not give the trophy, so restart early rather than finish a wasted run.

Short of CP before Insanity. Usually concept art or models bought early. PowerPyx's numbers work only if nothing else was bought, so prevention is the fix: the knife before run 2, the two infinite items before run 3. If you are already short, CP come from completing Challenges, so look for the ones still open in that list.

Model Mania and Curator stay locked after buying everything. Buying is not enough, each piece has to be viewed. Open the first one and hold the button that moves to the next.

The Ol' Fashioned Way never appears. Ink Ribbons do not exist on Casual and Standard (Modern). Do it on the Insanity run.

A one-time fight was skipped. Cat Got Your Tongue? happens only in Leon's second ARK section, Grace and Goliath only once in the Care Center. Load the manual save from that area rather than replaying from the start.

Rarity and time compared

Requiem is the fastest platinum in our current series of trophy guides. By Stratege's numbers, 3,490 of its 8,427 users with the game have it, and the average completion is 62%. On PSN as a whole the platinum was at 10.8% on October 11, 2026.

Source Estimate What it measures
PowerPyx (Feb 26, 2026) 20 hours, 4/10 Three runs with guides: 10–15 + 3–4 + 3 h
Stratege (Oct 11, 2026) 37 hours on average Self-reported time of Stratege users

The rarest trophy is Remarkable Agent at 13.1% on PSN. Speed Demon (14.5%) and Curator (14.6%) are next, which shows how many people stop after the first run.

After the Requiem, a long one with the same "save before the choice" logic is the Cyberpunk 2077 platinum guide, and a calmer one with five missables is the Expedition 33 platinum guide. For more short platinums sorted by hours, see the easiest platinum trophies, and for how points and levels work, PlayStation trophies explained. If the PC version stutters during the speedrun, the FPS drops fix helps. Pick the next game with the random game picker, rank finished ones in the tier list maker, and find the rest on the Resident Evil Requiem hub and the PlayStation hub.

FAQ

How long does the Resident Evil Requiem platinum take?

PowerPyx estimates 20 hours: 10–15 for the first run, 3–4 for the speedrun and about 3 for Insanity. Stratege users report 37 hours on average as of October 11, 2026.

Do I have to beat Insanity?

Yes. Remarkable Agent needs a finished run on Insanity, and PowerPyx calls it the hardest trophy. Infinite Ammo and the Infinite RPG from the Bonus menu do not block trophies.

Is there chapter select in Resident Evil Requiem?

No, and there is no free roam or New Game+ either. Keep a manual save from every area; the game has 12 manual slots and 3 autosaves.

How many playthroughs does the platinum need?

Two at minimum, but PowerPyx recommends three: a collectibles run on Casual, a Casual speedrun without healing or the Blood Collector, then Insanity.

Do bonus items like infinite ammo disable trophies?

No. According to PowerPyx you can use Infinite Ammo, the Infinite RPG and the unbreakable knife for the Insanity run and the speedrun.

How rare is the Resident Evil Requiem platinum?

On October 11, 2026 Stratege showed 10.8% of PSN players with it. Among Stratege's own users, 3,490 of 8,427 owners have it.
