The Ghost of Tsushima platinum trophy has no missable trophies, works on Easy and takes one playthrough. You need 52 trophies. PowerPyx estimates 40–60 hours, and Stratege users report 56 hours on average. If you already finished the game on PS4, importing that save into the PS5 Director's Cut pops everything except one photo mode trophy that takes seconds.
The Legends mode and the Iki Island expansion add 25 more trophies, but none of them count toward the platinum. The tables below list all 51 trophies you need besides the platinum, with PSN and Steam rarity.

Short answer
- Finish the story first on any difficulty. Nothing is missable and free roam stays open.
- After the credits, liberate every Mongol territory: it clears the fog and marks most collectibles and tales as question marks.
- Kick an enemy off a ledge while outposts still exist. Once every camp is liberated, enemies only come from random patrols.
- Save manually every hour. PowerPyx reports progression bugs that only an older save can fix.
- On PS5 with a PS4 save: import it from the title screen and redo the photo mode trophy.
Is anything missable in Ghost of Tsushima?
No. PowerPyx counts zero missable and zero glitched trophies, and everything can be done in free roam after the story. Tales can be finished after the ending too.
Two things still deserve care. The first is Have a Nice Fall: outposts have enemies in fixed spots, and after you liberate them all you depend on random patrols. The second is progression bugs. PowerPyx estimates about a 20% chance of a quest marker or a whole tale breaking at some point and suggests a manual save after every quest. It also advises finishing each tale before starting the next one.
Roadmap: story, liberation, tales and collectibles
Four steps, based on PowerPyx's roadmap and retold in our words. The "Step" column in the tables uses the same numbers.
- Story, about 15 hours. Take side tasks as they come. Equip the Charm of Inari from the Arrow Peak shrine early: it raises the supplies you find. Spend supplies only on the Sakai katana and the Sakai Clan Armor, since those are the only upgrades trophies ask for. The Traveler's Attire makes the controller vibrate near artifacts and records.
- Liberation. After the story every remaining Mongol camp is marked in red. Clearing them all removes the fog and turns most collectibles and tales into question marks on the map. Loot the camps on the way: maxing the katana and the armor takes a lot of materials.
- Collectibles, side tales and Mythic Tales. All 61 side tales, 7 Mythic Tales, 25 duels, 18 hot springs, 16 bamboo strikes, 16 Shinto shrines, 8 lighthouses, 49 Inari shrines and 19 haiku. Some types need only part of the total: 20 of 40 records, 20 of 50 Mongol artifacts, 1 of 23 Pillars of Honor, 5 of 20 singing crickets and 10 hidden altars.
- Leftovers. Cooper Clan Cosplayer, Dirge of the Fallen Forge and All in the Wrist are the usual ones left at the end. All three take minutes once you know the trick.
Sashimono banners are the only collectible type that no trophy needs.

The rarest base trophies are Cooper Clan Cosplayer (7.8% PSN, 5.3% Steam), Dirge of the Fallen Forge (8.4% and 6.3%) and Honor the Unseen (9.3% and 8.4%). They are all small tasks that people skip, not hard fights.
Legends and Iki Island: outside the platinum
Stratege lists 77 trophies for the Director's Cut, and the platinum uses only the first 52. The other 25 split into three groups:
| Group | Examples | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Legends | Transcendence, Ultimate Warrior, Ultimate Truth | Legends mode: raids, class rank 20, Gold survival |
| Iki Island | Out of the Past, Friend to All Raiders, Pride of Ishikawa | The island story, its tales and archery challenges |
| New Game+ | A Legend for All Time, Grand Opening | A second run in NG+ |
Stratege flags Transcendence, Ultimate Warrior, Ultimate Truth and Self-Actualized as online trophies. On Steam these are the rarest of the whole game: Transcendence has 2.2% and Ultimate Warrior 2.3%.
Does a PS4 save autopop trophies on PS5?
Yes. According to PowerPyx, importing a PS4 save into the PS5 Director's Cut pops every trophy, including the Legends and New Game+ ones, except A Moment in Time. That one needs you to open photo mode and change a setting, which takes seconds. The import is offered on the title screen, via USB or PS Plus cloud storage.
The transfer only goes one way: a PS5 save cannot go back to the PS4 version. On PC the game uses Steam achievements, which have nothing to do with PSN trophies. If Steam ever warns about a cloud sync conflict on your save, read our Steam Cloud conflict guide before choosing a side, so you do not overwrite a long run.
What usually goes wrong
A tale or quest marker breaks. PowerPyx reports progression bugs and estimates about a 20% chance of hitting one. The only fix is loading an older manual save, so keep several slots and overwrite the oldest.
Have a Nice Fall left for last. After every territory is liberated, the fixed outposts are gone. Do it early at an outpost near a ledge with the Shoulder Charge or the strengthened Typhoon Kick.
All in the Wrist won't pop. The maximum streak in a standoff depends on the Sakai Clan Armor, which adds two kills when fully upgraded. Spend supplies elsewhere and you will be short of materials for it.
Dirge of the Fallen Forge does nothing at the grave. You need the Lament of the Storm song first, and it comes from collecting 5 singing crickets at cemeteries.
Searching all 40 records and 50 artifacts. The trophies need 20 of each. PowerPyx says the rest are not needed for any trophy.
Time, rarity and rewards
| Source | Estimate | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| PowerPyx | 40–60 hours, 50 on average, difficulty 3/10 | A guide writer's run with the roadmap |
| Stratege (Oct 11, 2026) | 56 hours on average | Self-reported time of Stratege users |
The platinum itself sits at 7.0% on PSN, and the matching Living Legend achievement at 4.3% on Steam. Stratege counts 11,807 platinum owners among 23,978 of its users with the game. Its users are mostly trophy hunters, so that share is far higher than the PSN figure.
There is no physical platinum reward for Tsushima right now. PlayStation's Ghost Rewards store had a T-shirt for the gold trophy Mono No Aware, with an earn-by date of December 31, 2025; on October 12, 2026 it is marked as retired. The platinum pin on that store belongs to the sequel.
That sequel is the next step for most players: our Ghost of Yōtei platinum guide covers its five-step roadmap and the $25 pin. The God of War Ragnarök and Hogwarts Legacy platinum guides use the same tables. Undecided, let the random game picker choose, or rank what you have in the tier list maker. Every page about the game is on the Ghost of Tsushima hub, more console pages are on the PlayStation hub, and the rest is in all guides.
FAQ
Are there missable trophies in Ghost of Tsushima?
No. Everything stays available in free roam after the story. The one trophy to plan for is Have a Nice Fall: do it while enemy outposts are still around.

Yes. Importing a PS4 save into the PS5 Director's Cut pops every trophy except the photo mode one, which takes a few seconds. It works only from PS4 to PS5.
Do I need Legends or Iki Island for the platinum?
No. The platinum needs the 52 trophies of the main list. Stratege shows 77 in total; the other 25 are Legends, Iki Island and New Game+ trophies.
How long does the Ghost of Tsushima platinum take?
